Changelog
Versions follow semantic versioning: a patch release (1.0.x) fixes problems, a minor release (1.x) adds features without breaking anything, and a major release changes something you rely on and comes with a migration guide. Database migrations only move forward and never delete your data.
1.0.0
The first release.
The editor
- A three-part editor (toolbar, canvas, inspector) that works with a mouse, with the keyboard alone, on a tablet and on a phone.
- Twenty-five blocks, from headings and buttons to pricing cards, data tables, image collages, ratings and QR codes, and ten ready-made layout presets.
- Rich text on the canvas with pasting from Word and Google Docs, links, and merge tags that cannot be broken apart.
- Brand kits and nine built-in themes.
- Automatic saving, a local copy while offline, full undo and redo with a history panel, and a side-by-side view when two people change the same design.
- Live email checks and a size meter against Gmail's 102 KB clipping line.
- Six exports: inlined HTML, HTML with a style block, ZIP, JSON, EML and plain text.
- Test sends to confirmed addresses, and JSON import that checks the whole file before changing anything.
- Publishing to Mailchimp, Brevo, SendGrid and Klaviyo: connect your account, publish a design as a template, and update it in place. It never sends.
- 79 original templates and a blank start, and saving your own designs as templates.
The platform
- Multi-tenant workspaces isolated by PostgreSQL row-level security, with owner, admin, editor and viewer roles, and email invitations that bind to the invited address.
- Four plans. The plan editor sets seven limits the server enforces where they are used: saved designs, team members, saved templates, exports per month, test sends per day, AI requests per month, AI images per month and template tiers. Media storage is enforced on upload. A workspace over a limit becomes read-only; nothing is deleted.
- An operator console: overview, tenants, subscriptions, invoices, plans, templates, users, staff, application logs, a security checklist and settings.
- White-labelling with your own name, accent colour and light and dark logos.
- Payment adapters for Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay and Paystack, with signed, replay-safe webhooks. The Manual provider takes a payment reference and a proof upload, and an operator approves or rejects each request.
- Failed-payment reminders and then read-only mode, driven by a scheduler you point at
POST /api/jobs/dunningwith a secret (CRON_SECRET). - An append-only audit log, readable with any PostgreSQL client.
Installing and running
- A six-step web installer with a setup token, which closes itself for good when finished.
- A one-command installer for a fresh Ubuntu or Debian server, and guides for cPanel (a prebuilt bundle, no build on the host), Render (a Blueprint), Vercel and your own computer.
- Runs as one Node.js process with one PostgreSQL database: no Redis, no queue and no worker.
- A demo mode with one-click sign-in and a scheduled reset.
- These documentation pages, which open from your download without a server, and the full readable source code beside the prebuilt application.
